Principal

It is a great honor to welcome you to our community and privilege to serve as the principal of Mountain View High School. Over the last seven years I have had the opportunity to benefit from and connect with the culture of our school as an Associate Principal. I have experienced the belief that to know Mountain View is to love Mountain View. With the support of our outstanding staff and incredible student body I am confident that this next chapter in our school story will be ambitious and inspiring.

We embrace the fact that our school serves students of different backgrounds, abilities, and interests. We are committed to offering challenging programs in a safe and supportive educational environment that develops individual students to their greatest potential. This environment fosters mutual respect, communication and compassion with the entire school community.

Prior to joining the MVHS administrative team in 2015, I served as a science teacher, exceptional education teacher, assessment coordinator, and spent eight years as an elementary principal. These experiences, in combination with my time in MUSD, have solidified my belief in the importance of establishing strong relationships with our students and community. I look forward to hearing from you and am committed to providing ample opportunities for your voice to be shared.

Outside of school, I love to spend time with my husband and two sons. We love playing board games, exploring outdoors, cooking together, and finding any reason for a celebration. After growing up in California, the Arizona sunshine was a huge motive in becoming a U of A Wildcat. I am incredibly proud that my career path has led me to the Marana district and I am grateful to you for entrusting us with your student’s education.
