Congressman Juan Ciscomani Meets, Inspires MVHS Students!

Students in Mrs. Silver’s fourth period U.S. Government class at Mountain View High School recently welcomed a special guest: Congressman Juan Ciscomani. Congressman Ciscomani shared his powerful personal story of immigrating to the United States, becoming a citizen, pursuing his education, and ultimately serving as a state representative before being elected to Congress. He also spoke about his current work in Washington, D.C., the branches of government, and the role of congressional committees in shaping decisions that impact communities across the country.
During the visit, students had the chance to ask thoughtful questions, connecting their classroom lessons to real-world governance. They described the experience as both informative and inspiring.
MVHS thanks Congressman Ciscomani for taking the time to meet with students, share his journey, and encourage them to see themselves as future leaders in their communities and beyond!
