Important Info for MHS & MVHS Graduation Ceremonies
Marana Unified School District is excited to celebrate the Class of 2026! Graduation ceremonies for Marana High School and Mountain View High School will take place on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at the Tucson Convention Center (TCC) Arena, located at 260 S. Church Avenue, Tucson, AZ 85701.
Before attending the events, please review the important information below.
The Marana High School Commencement Ceremony is at 3:00 p.m., and doors open at 1:30 p.m.
The Mountain View High School Commencement Ceremony is at 7:30 p.m., and doors open at 6:00 p.m.
Driving to TCC
Due to high traffic volumes and multiple events occurring downtown, traffic delays are expected. Families are encouraged to avoid the Congress Exit on I-10 to the Tucson Convention Center; take a different route to avoid getting stuck in excessive traffic. Alternate routes include:
- Grant Road → TCC
- Speedway Boulevard → TCC
- 6th Street → TCC
- 22nd Street → TCC
- Cushing/Granada → TCC
Parking Information
Because additional events are scheduled that day, guests should be prepared to park and walk from other downtown garage, lots, or meters nearby.
TCC Parking
Pay-for-Parking at the Tucson Convention Center is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Only CREDIT/DEBIT is accepted, cash payment is NOT accepted. On-site parking is available:
Parking Lot A Garage located off Church Ave.
Parking in Lot B is accessible via Granada or Cushing St
Parking Lot and Garage C accessible via Granada.
TCC Parking Costs
$20/per car/per day and patrons will scan the QR code on the signs posted around all the parking areas and pay that way.
Metered Parking
On-street metered parking spaces in the Downtown Core range from half-hour to 6-hour limits. All meters charge $1/hour and are enforced Mon.–Fri., 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Pay by coin, with debit/credit card, or download and use the GoTucson Parking mobile app to pay for parking and extend parking sessions remotely.

- Centro Garage: 345 E. Congress St.
- Pennington Street Garage: 110 E. Pennington St.
- City/State Garage: 498 W. Congress St.
- Depot Plaza Garage: 45 N. 5th Ave.
- SunLink Streetcar
Lot Parking
- St. Augustine Cathedral Parking: 235 S. Church Ave. Open during most events taking place at TCC.
- Downtown Tucson Main Library Garage: 45 W. Alameda St. Open Mon.–Fri., 5:45 a.m.–9 p.m.
Clear Bag Policy
The Tucson Convention Center’s Clear Bag Policy will be strictly enforced. Approved bags include:
- Clear bags up to 14” x 16”
- One-gallon clear zip bags
- Small clutch bags up to 8” x 5”
Backpacks, large purses, luggage, and other oversized bags are not permitted inside the venue.
Food & Beverage Information
Outside food and beverages are not permitted inside the Tucson Convention Center. Guests may bring one sealed or empty clear plastic water bottle per person. Water, light snacks, and hot dogs will be available for purchase at the concession stands.
Prohibited Items
Please note that the following items are not allowed inside the venue:
- Balloons
- Noise-making devices
- Professional cameras/video equipment
- Chairs
- Coolers
- Tripods/selfie sticks
- Outside food and drinks
- Weapons
- Confetti or glitter
- Backpacks and oversized bags
Guests entering the venue are subject to security screening.
