The Marana Unified School District was honored with the Education Impact Leader Award by the United Way Cradle to Career (C2C) initiative. This prestigious recognition celebrates MUSD’s commitment to advancing educational equity and opportunity for all students.

The C2C initiative, anchored at United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona, is a county-wide collaborative effort focused on improving educational outcomes from birth through career. Its mission is to eliminate racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic disparities while ensuring that every young person has access to the tools and support needed for long-term success.

MUSD was selected for its outstanding leadership and measurable impact across the educational spectrum. From increasing kindergarten readiness to improving high school graduation rates and actively supporting the re-engagement of opportunity youth, MUSD continues to be a driving force in shaping a brighter future for Southern Arizona’s students.
