MVHS Mock Trial Team Advances to State Championship!
The Mock Trial Team at Mountain View High School has earned a place in the Arizona State Mock Trial Championship for the second consecutive year. The championship competition will take place Saturday, March 28, at the Sandra Day O’Connor U.S. Courthouse.
This achievement reflects months of preparation, disciplined legal analysis, and impressive courtroom advocacy by the students. Competing against teams from across Arizona, Mountain View’s team demonstrated exceptional skill in trial procedure, witness examination, and persuasive argumentation, advancing through the regional competition to earn their place among the state’s top programs.

The MVHS Mock Trial program provides students with an engaging, hands-on opportunity to explore the legal system while developing critical thinking, public speaking, collaboration, and analytical reasoning skills. Through simulated court cases, students take on the roles of attorneys, witnesses, and court officials while practicing the procedures used in real courtrooms.
Competing at the Sandra Day O’Connor U.S. Courthouse offers a unique and authentic legal setting where students can apply their knowledge of constitutional principles, courtroom procedure, and legal strategy in a professional environment.
