Mountain View HS Graduation: Important Info for Families
Marana Unified School District is hosting Graduation for Mountain View High School and Marana High School at the Tucson Convention Center (TCC) in the Arena on Thursday, May 21, 2026. The TCC is hosting additional events that day, and downtown will be busy with activity. Please read the important information below.
General information: May 21, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. at the Tucson Convention Center
Graduation is being hosted at the Tucson Convention Center (260 S Church, Tucson, AZ 85701) in the Arena on Thursday, May 21 at 7:30 p.m. Graduation will also be livestreamed.
- Students must arrive no later than 6:30 p.m. at the Arena to participate.
- Doors will open for all guests at 6:00 p.m.
- Optional transportation will be provided for students and families to and from MVHS and TCC, leaving at 5:20 p.m. More info is below.
- All seniors must complete the “MVHS 2026 Senior Graduation Survey” which has been sent to their school gmail account to confirm their participation in the ceremony and to submit their ticket request through the Google Form.
- If a guest requires disability accommodations they will also be able to identify this through the survey. For questions, please contact Jessica Hassler at 520-579-4428.
- Tickets will be distributed to seniors at the end of Graduation Practice on Wednesday, May 20.
- Mandatory Graduation Practice, We have a mandatory practice on Wednesday May 20, 9a.m. - 12:00p.m. (end time approximate)
- TCC’s clear bag policy will be enforced.

Graduation Surveys: Complete by May 1
- The MVHS 2026 Senior Graduation Survey was emailed to all MVHS seniors' school email. The deadline to complete the surveys is May 1.
- Graduation Guest Ticket Survey: All seniors must complete to confirm the number of tickets needed and request additional tickets.
Graduation Transportation
STUDENTS
Optional MUSD transportation will be available for all seniors to and from MVHS to the TCC. The bus will leave promptly at 5:20 p.m. from MVHS. Students may also transport themselves to the event. Students who arrive late will not be permitted to participate. Students not using MUSD Transportation must arrive at TCC by 6:30 p.m.
FAMILIES
Families/guests have the option of taking MUSD bus transportation to and from TCC. Families will be required to sign up to reserve a seat on the bus. Students will be able to reserve seats via the MVHS 2026 Graduation survey. The bus will leave promptly at 5:20 p.m. from MVHS. Any additional details will be shared with seniors who requested MUSD Transportation.
Driving to TCC
Last year, traffic backed up from I-10 from the Congress Exit. Please consider taking alternate routes.
Travel south on I-10 and use:
- Grant → TCC
- Speedway → TCC
- 6th → TCC
- Congress → TCC
- Cushing/Granada → TCC
If you are in Tucson, consider taking River to Campbell to Broadway streets.
PARKING
Families commuting to TCC will need to find parking:
- TCC parking lots (limited): There is pay-for-parking located at the TCC, however, space is extremely limited due to other events scheduled that day. Be prepared to find alternative parking.
- Tucson Convention Center - Lot C Garage
- La Placita Garage - 211 S. Church Ave.

- Downtown Tucson Partnership: All parking info
- Please be advised that traffic on Congress will likely be heavily congested. We recommend using alternate routes such as St. Marys or Speedway.
