AZ Seal of Biliteracy Application Open!

MVHS students can now apply for the Arizona Seal of Biliteracy!

The Arizona Seal of Biliteracy is an award given to high school students in Arizona who have demonstrated proficiency in English and at least one other world language by graduation. The purpose of the Seal is to (1) recognize students who are bilingual and biliterate, (2) encourage language learning, and (3) provide employers and universities with a way to identify candidates with valuable language skills.

MVHS hosted an informational session on February 28th, and as of now, we have about 20 students working on completing the requirements for the Seal. A second session will be held on March 26th, right after school, to follow up with students who have completed the application and to provide information to any other students interested in applying.
