MVHS Model UN Hosts Cold War Simulation

Last week our Model United Nations club did an exceptional job facilitating a student-led simulation of Cold War strategy and diplomacy. Students from world history classes represented the interests of various nations during the Cold War. They worked together to respond to their rival alliance's moves and solve dynamic problems as they appeared. Every class period encountered tense decision making under pressure and learned about the stakes of international diplomacy.
